Experience

I have a decade of experience as a teacher and tutor. This includes a year of teaching English as a second language to kindergarten students in Thailand, three years of experience teaching English as a second language for K - 12 students, and two years of creative writing teaching for college students at Notre Dame. I've been studying Mandarin Chinese for the past three years myself, so I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. I also appreciate the value of immersion. I can assist students in writing, English grammar, literature, essays, reading, general elementary and middle school subjects, adult literacy, ESL, TOEFL, test preparation, and more. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing martial arts, reading, running, writing, watching movies, and playing board games and card games.
